Josh Moore is the Director of Pharmacy for MO HealthNet Division. Josh graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Most recently he served as the Director of Operations for the Clinical Management Services & System for Pharmacy and Prior Authorization at Conduent. As the Director of Pharmacy for MO HealthNet, Josh leads the operations of the clinical utilization management for medications, including development of prior authorization criteria. He also oversees the preferred drug list program, rare disease medications, and several advisory committees.
Josh currently serves as Co-Chair for the Behavioral Pharmacy Management Steering Committee, which is responsible for working with prescribers and alerting them to possible quality improvement interventions. He also serves on the Missouri Psychotropic Medication Advisory Council and Drug Effectiveness Review Project Steering Committee.
A married father of two daughters, Josh has practiced pharmacy in the community setting and as a clinical pharmacist. He also has years of experience managing complex healthcare IT environments. With this background his goal is to enable and support the best treatment for patients in a fiscally responsible and sustainable way.
