Ms. Blackson serves as a liaison between the Louisiana Department of Health, the governor’s office, and the Louisiana Legislature on key health care matters for the state. An active member of the community, she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Junior League Baton Rouge, New Schools Changemakers, The Louisiana Bar Association, the Louisiana Association for Non-Profit Organizations Leadership Class, and the Baton Rouge Area Foundation Leadership Fellow.
