Ms. Shetty has spent her career in public service and advocacy. She is serving in her second term in the Maryland General Assembly, where she is the chair of the House Democratic Caucus, chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Social Services, and vice chair of the Montgomery County House Delegation. Her focus is on supporting vulnerable individuals and families, reducing costs in our health care system, and improving patient outcomes.
