Deputy Commissioner for Aging and Disability Services, New Jersey Department of Human Services
Kaylee McGuire is the Deputy Commissioner for Aging and Disability Services at the New Jersey Department of Human Services. With a background in disability services and community programs for individuals with disabilities and complex medical needs, Kaylee was inspired by personal caregiving experiences to enter public service. She previously served as Senior Policy Advisor to Governor Phil Murphy, leading health and human services policy and supporting the governor’s COVID-19 pandemic response. Previously, she served as a health policy analyst in the state’s General Assembly Majority Office under Speaker Craig Coughlin and held a management role in one of the nation’s largest pediatric rehabilitation systems. Before entering state government, Kaylee spent over 10 years as a recreational therapist and child life specialist. She holds an MBA from Rutgers University and a BA in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Raised in Ocean County, N.J., Kaylee is a devoted aunt and advocates for a more inclusive and age-friendly New Jersey.
