State Representative, Maryland
Delegate Heather Bagnall, a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County, has represented District 33C in the Maryland General Assembly for six years. She currently serves as Chair of both the Anne Arundel County Delegation and the Health and Government Operation Committee’s Public Health and Minority Health Disparities Subcommittee. Heather is one of the General Assembly’s most prominent advocates for women’s rights, LGBTQ+ equality, and access to behavioral health care. In recent years, she passed legislation to expand funding for mental health and substance abuse programs, led efforts on implementing an assisted outpatient treatment program, and fought to protect gender-affirming care across state lines.
