Bruce Goldberg, MD, served two Oregon governors for over ten years as the director of the Office for Oregon Health Policy and Research and director of the Oregon Department of Human Services. He went on to become the founding director of the Oregon Health Authority. As director, he was responsible for Medicaid policy and management. He led Oregon’s nationally recognized health reforms transforming the state’s Medicaid system to one based on a model of coordinated care and value-based payment for care. For more than 15 years, he has also been a faculty member at Oregon Health and Sciences University. April 2019
