Cat Livingston, MD, MPH, is a family physician and preventive medicine physician with expertise in evidence-based policy. She currently is the medical director of Health Share of Oregon, a coordinated care organization that serves more than 300,000 Oregon Medicaid members and provides innovative social and behavioral services. She has served as the associate medical director of the Health Evidence Review Commission, which makes coverage decisions for the Medicaid population in Oregon. Part of her work as been to develop innovative evidence-based coverage guidance for use across payers. Dr. Livingston’s evidence-based policy work is grounded in an ongoing primary care and hospital practice at Oregon Health & Science University, where she is an associate professor.
