Christopher Chen, MD, MBA, is a medical director for Medicaid and clinical informatics at the Washington State Health Care Authority. Christopher is dedicated to serving the underserved and believes in the Health Care Authority’s mission to use innovative polices and purchasing strategies to improve health and address disparities. Board certified in internal medicine and clinical informatics, Christopher helps guide clinical policy and strategy at the agency, and supports initiatives in health information technology, telehealth, quality, and health equity. Christopher obtained a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, a business degree from The Wharton School, and a residency in primary care internal medicine from the University of Washington.
