Eli Adashi, MD, MS, CPE, FACOG, a former dean of medicine and biological sciences at Brown University, is a professor of medical science at Brown University and an affiliated researcher with the Brown Center for Health and Justice Transformation. Dr. Adashi is also the chair of the medical executive committee and the medical advisory council of the Jones Foundation for Reproductive Medicine; a member of the advisory council of The Hastings Center; and a member of the Board of Governors of Tel Aviv University. Prior to joining Brown University, Dr. Adashi was the John A. Dixon Endowed Presidential Professor and chair of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center (1996–2004) and the founder and leader of the Ovarian Cancer Program of the Huntsman Cancer Research Institute (1999–2004).
