Evan Saulino is a family physician who works in Portland, Oregon at a safety-net clinic. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California – San Diego, and his medical degree and PhD in Microbiology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After time doing research in a lab studying anthrax at Harvard Medical School, he shifted gears and completed his Family Medicine residency training at Oregon Health and Science University. In addition to seeing patients in the clinic, he works on a variety of health policy, advocacy, and communications issues in coordination with community and physician groups, as well as with legislators in Oregon.
