Hilary Kennedy is program director at the National Association of Medicaid Directors (NAMD). In her role, she leads the organization’s efforts to design a program of leadership training and support to Medicaid Directors and their senior staff.
Before coming to NAMD, Ms. Kennedy worked at the National Governors Association (NGA) on issues related to Medicaid waivers and reforms and public health. Prior to the NGA, she worked for seven years at AcademyHealth, focusing primarily on state coverage expansions and delivery system reform.
Ms. Kennedy received a Master of Public Policy from the London School of Economics, a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University, and graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Government.
