Jennifer W. Kaminski, PhD, is team lead for the child development studies team within the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her team’s work focuses on public health strategies to promote healthier futures for children with, or at risk for, mental, behavioral, and developmental disorders. Her own research applies psychological expertise and methodology to public health issues affecting children, youth, and families. She is a fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA) and currently serves as the president-elect of APA’s Division 37 (Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice). March 2017
