Jerome Finkel, MD, is the chief primary health officer for the Henry Ford Health System (HFHS). He oversees the coordination of all outpatient primary care clinical services, population health services, and care management services
Dr. Finkel also serves as chairman of the board of the Henry Ford Accountable Care Organization and serves on the board of the Michigan Health Information Network. He is a member of the Medicare and Medicaid Innovation’s Comprehensive Primary Care Plus program’s statewide steering committee, chairing its care interventions subcommittee.
Dr. Finkel earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, his master’s in health administration from the University of Southern California, and his MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Sinai Hospital of Detroit. Dr. Finkel is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
