Margaret Houy is a senior consultant at Bailit Health Purchasing, LLC. Since joining Bailit over 12 years ago, Houy has worked for a variety of clients in the areas of strategic planning, quality comparisons, payment reform and delivery system redesign strategies, longterm care, organizational operational readiness, and consumer education and engagement. Houy has a diverse and rich background in managed care and health care law. Prior to her work at Bailit, she held director-level positions at Tufts Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim Health Plan in Massachusetts, working in provider network development and pharmacy benefit management. Prior to moving into health care administration, Houy practiced health care law in Michigan and Massachusetts. Houy earned her undergraduate degree from Pitzer College, her law degree and MPP from the University of Michigan, and her MBA from Simmons College School of Management. July 2017
