Michael Mintrom is a professor of public policy at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, where he serves as inaugural director of Better Governance and Policy. He is the author of several books including Policy Entrepreneurs and Dynamic Change (Cambridge University Press) and Public Policy: Investing for a Better World and Contemporary Policy Analysis. Dr. Mintrom received his PhD in Political Science from the State University of New York at Stony Book. He previously held tenured positions at Michigan State University and the University of Auckland. He has also served as an academic director at the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.
