Susan Stuard is the director for state technical assistance at the Center for Evidence-based Policy, where she helps states to evaluate policy changes by facilitating stakeholder input processes, developing and analyzing policy frameworks, translating evidence into policy outcomes, and helping states create strategies and decision-tools to enable change. From 2008 to 2015, Susan led THINC, the not-for-profit convening organization focused on health care quality and primary care transformation in the Hudson Valley region of New York. Prior to THINC, she was the director for technology policy development at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the vice president of regulatory affairs for the Greater New York Hospital Association. Susan serves on the Board of Directors for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
