Vida Foubister is a journalist who writes about social determinants of health and efforts to improve care and access for underserved populations. Her work has been published in Think Global Health, Reuters, and other news outlets. Vida has also produced case studies, articles and reports, and white papers for health care institutions, professional associations, and foundations, including the Commonwealth Fund, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Aspen Institute, among others. Vida holds a master’s in biochemistry from the University of British Columbia and a master’s in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
