William E. Golden, MD, is a professor of medicine and public health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the medical Director for the Arkansas Office of Health Information Technology as well as Arkansas Medicaid. Since 1992, he has designed numerous statewide quality improvement and medical home efforts for Arkansas Medicare and Medicaid. He has served on numerous national governance boards including the NQF, the HCP-LAN, the American College of Physicians, and the American Health Quality Association.
