Milbank Quarterly Webinar: New Research on Select State Strategies to Improve Opioid Prescription Safety

What: Two recent Milbank Quarterly studies explored state policies to improve opioid prescription safety. On July 30, 2024, the authors and NYU’s Magdalena Cerda participated in a Milbank Quarterly-NYU Langone Health webinar on the findings, and why ongoing research on the impact of opioid policies is important to avoid unexpected negative consequences of policies and adjust programs as needed.
