Topics from the Fall 2016 Reforming States Group Meetings

The following topics were the subject of presentations at the fall Reforming States Group meetings:

• Aging — presentations focused on rebalancing long-term services and supports and the integration of Medicare and Medicaid services;
• Leveraging Medicaid for the Social Determinants of Health, a presentation about how Medicaid can be leveraged to address social factors;
• Integrated Data Systems  — presentations looked at how states could bridge data infrastructure and governance to address complex issues such as health care superutilizers, early childhood intervention, criminal justice reform, and the opioid crisis.
