Ashley Goss is the Deputy Secretary for Public Health at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, overseeing over 500 employees across various public health programs. These programs include the Kansas Health and Environmental Laboratories, disease control and prevention, epidemiology, and health promotion. Before her state role, she spent 11 years in a local public health department in Western Kansas. This local experience gave Ashley valuable insights into community concerns and the importance of collaboration.
